Let me start off by saying that Hit Polish is the new name of D & R Apothecary's nail polish line. I absolutely love their polishes! You may remember the post I did of "Halloween" a couple weeks ago (if not, you can find it here). I wore that mani for days (which for me is really saying something - considering how easily bored I get), I honestly didn't want to take it off! Well here is another amazing polish from them called "Candied Jewels", which I plan on wearing for awhile as well! It has medium sized matte purple & matte red hexes (they both have those awesome little stripes on them!), matte teal hexes that are slightly smaller than the red & purple, small green, blue, and white hexes, and small green squares - all in a clear base. A very unique combination that I totally adore!
I layered 2 dabbled coats of Candied Jewels over my Spoiled "Did I Dye It Too Blonde?" mani from yesterday, followed by 1 coat of Gelous and 1 coat of Sally Hansen Insta-Dry top coat. I'm really pleased with how it came out! :D

I purchased this polish off of D & R Apothecary's Etsy page, but it can also be purchased on their new website HitPolish.com. The creator of these polishes, Rachel, is really sweet and very talented. She's always coming up with new polishes - I seriously make at least one purchase from her every week!
Thanks for stopping by! :)
How did you get all those colors to show? I bought it and the spoiled polish to try...it just didn't look as pretty as yours :( what do you mean by Dabbling?
ReplyDeleteI learned the "dabble method" from a blog called More Nail Polish and it has been a game changer! It really helps to get the most from your glitter polishes! Here is the link to her specific blog post/tutorial for the dabble method: http://morenailpolish.blogspot.com.au/2012/03/lynnderella-glittering-crowd-with.html
ReplyDeleteHope this helps! :)
