Tough As Nails Lacquer - The Baconian Method

The Baconian Method is an awesome glitterbomb that consists of matte hexes of brown, red, pink, & white, along with shiny orange hexes & bars, all in a clear base. Consistency was great - not too thick or too thin. I dabbed the glitters on to get them were I wanted them, & I'm really happy with the end result!

This is 1 coat (except on my ring finger & thumb which have 2 coats) of The Baconian Method over Maybelline Color Show Wine & Dined (which can be seen by itself here), with 1 coat of topcoat.

Maybelline Color Show - Wine & Dined

Wine & Dined is a beautiful brown with burgundy and golden shimmer throughout. The only thing I don't like about this polish is the name. Improper grammar is a pet peeve of mine, so it really bugs me that they didn't name it either "Wined & Dined" or "Wine & Dine". Either way they should have kept it in the same tense, whether it be past or present. Oh well.. it's a beautiful polish nonetheless!

This is 2 coats of Wine & Dined with 1 coat of topcoat.

Sinful Colors - Let Me Go

Let Me Go is a multichrome that flashes purple, teal, & gold. It is very sheer, so I layered it over a lavender creme. I actually took these pictures awhile back (in July I think), but I didn't post them then because that was when all the hoopla was going on with Sinful Colors stealing bloggers photos. Since that seems to have all blown over now, I can finally show you guys this stunning combination!

This is 1 coat (or possibly 2 coats) of Let Me Go over Essie Play Date (which can be seen by itself here), and 1 coat of topcoat.

I purchased this at my local Harmon for $1.99.

This polish makes me think of the title song from the movie "Never Let Me Go" (which is I highly recommend watching).

Hit Polish - Precious Metal

Precious Metal is a lovely glitterbomb filled with hexes of gold, silver, bronze, copper, gunmetal, and a sprinkling of holographic micro glitters, all in a clear base. Application was great, not too thick or too thin, and the glitters are plentiful!

I layered Precious Metal over NOPI For Gold Times Sake (which can be seen by itself here). On my ring finger & thumb I did 2 coats, and on my other fingers I did 1 coat. All were topped with 1 coat of topcoat.

See those teeny tiny white dots? Those are actually holographic!

And to show off those sparkling holographic glitters, here it is with flash:

Nicole by OPI - For Gold Times Sake

For Gold Times Sake is such a hard polish to describe. There's just so much going on! The main color appears to be a murky brown/olive green, but within that there are tons of glassflecks of gold, pink, blue, & purple! It's a very unique and interesting combination!

This is 3 coats of For Gold Times Sake with 1 coat of topcoat.

Check out all those multi colored glassflecks! ..and please excuse the dog hair.

This polish is a Target exclusive & is NOT one of the Kardashian colors (hallelujah!).  I purchased this from Target.com for $7.04 a few months ago, & it's still available now!

All That Glitters - Arose From A Sleep

Arose From A Sleep is a breathtakingly beautiful glitterbomb. It's filled with small hexes of rose gold, fuchsia, & light blue, and squares of rose gold, all in a soft pink jelly base that's loaded with iridescent periwinkle shimmer. So insanely gorgeous! Application was pretty decent for a polish containing so much glitter. Though I will say when I first received this bottle the polish was so thick it was unusable.. but after adding about 30 drops of thinner (no joke!), it is all fine & dandy now.

This is 2 coats of Arose From A Sleep with 1 coat of topcoat.

Metametics - Airbender

Airbender is a light blue creme base with white and blue hexes mixed in. I have to say I'm kinda disappointed in this one. When I saw pics of it on some other blogs it looked like a crelly.. but my bottle is definitely more of a creme. This is a problem because the creme base actually ends up covering up a lot of the glitters. I *might* be able to remedy this by adding clear polish to the bottle, or maybe even adding thinner, but I can't say for sure that either of those things would work because I haven't tried yet. Oh well.. the only positive thing I have to say is that it is a very pretty shade of blue.

This is 3 coats of Airbender with 1 coat of topcoat.
