My First Franken!

Ok well, the title is not entirely truthful. I have made other frankens before, but none were as cool as this one. I was feeling inspired by all these talented ladies on Etsy so I decided to try something and this was the result..
I call it "Rainbow Ice Cream Party!". I used OPI "Rainbow Connection" (hence Rainbow), Wet n Wild "Party of Five Glitters" (hence Party), and an old Hot Topic white nail polish (which kinda looks like vanilla ice cream). So there you have it! I mixed them in the Hot Topic bottle (hence the skull on top.. I'm definitely saying "hence" too much.. I'll stop now.. lol).

Here are some purdy pictures:

Another thing you may have noticed is I finally figured out how to take macro pics! Yay! I will leave you with a macro bottle shot and another macro index finger shot..

Hope you enjoyed looking at these as much as I enjoyed making them! :D

Models Own - Pinky Brown

I think the name of this polish pretty much says it all. It's brown with a hint of pink shimmer and copper undertones. I've heard complaints from other people online that this polish wasn't pink enough. Well that's just fine with me because I'm not particularly a big fan of pink. I loved this color because it was just the right amount of pink for me to handle, and not overly brown (aka it doesn't look like poo.. haha).

I started off with a base coat of Nailtiques 2 Plus, followed by two coats of Pinky Brown, and sealed the deal with Seche Vite.

These were taken with flash..

and these are without flash (and are much more color accurate)..

Once again my pictures don't really do it justice. In real life it's much more sparkly and pretty.

Thanks for looking! :)

Ozotic - 507

This is my first blog post so it will be short and sweet (basically I'll let the pictures do most of the talking). Ozotic 507 is an awesome gold/yellow/green multichrome. I could even see a little blue in it on some angles. There is nothing even remotely close to it in my polish collection.. and I absolutely love it!

These were taken with flash..

..and these were taken without flash..

As you can see they look more golden with flash, and more green without. But none of the pictures actually compare to how awesome it looks in real life.
Ozotic 507 is available to purchase from Llarowe, Harlow & Co., and Ninja Polish.

Thanks for stopping by! :)
